NYC road trip photos

Well, we made it! What should have been a 6.5 hour drive took us 10.5 hours in the blowing snow and sleet! God sent us a little angel by the name of Matthew when we lost a windshield wiper and were stranded in the whiteout on the side of the road! Oh what a day! We're exhausted but happyily awaiting our show in NYC tomorrow. Look out Rockette's! Here we come! We'll keep you posted.

They did it!
My girls have done a fabulous job this year of keeping up to the challenges of our growing business. They're a fantastic crew and they've earned themselves a trip to NYC to see the Rockette's Christmas Show at Radio City Music Hall. We'll be heading out December 19th but Little Specialty Shop will remain open for your holiday shopping. Tina and Roseanne are staying behind to man the shop. Don't worry-we'll bring them back something nice!

Old man winter wreaked havoc on our little shoppers tonight! While a handful made it out, our elves were fielding phone calls all evening to see if we'd reschedule this event.
Barb Willoughby has agreed to come back on Saturday afternoon from 2-4pm to treat mom to a paraffin treatment on her hands while her little ones shop.
Elves will once again be on hand to help wrap your child's choices.

Kids can shop for mom (or auntie or grandma or sister, etc) while mom has a complimentary parafin treatment in the loft.

Thanks to everyone who attended the Downtown Christmas Openhouse this weekend! We had a beautiful day on Friday for a walking tour of the town and the tree lighting ceremony. Saturday, not so much! Although it poured rain, we had many customers in to shop for holiday outfits and for gift giving. This weekend, we saw more NEW people in Little Specialty Shop then ever before! We had many customers in from Ottawa and Perth especially.
