At this point I think we can all agree that the united states economy is in trouble...

We're all feeling it somewhere.

I mean after all, the big banks and stock markets are crashing even today, people are resorting to wood heat, Hanging clothes outside to dry, cancelling satelite and cell phone subscriptions, Driving less or multitasking, and they've just announced today that holiday shopping is expected to decrease by HALF ! (except at Little Specialty Shop!)


We would like to invite everyone , worldwide, to a challenge in an attempt to help our families survive the economic crisis while still making it user friendly and well ... More like a game !

We challenge everyone for the next 365 days to buy their clothing used !
(Except for your underclothes and socks buy all of your clothing used)

The average person throws away and/or donates 68 pounds of clothing per year, that's trillions of pounds of clothing being thrown into landfills and the sad thing is , most of it is still in great usable condition.

By making your clothing purchases USED and/or GENTLY USED you will be doing a HUGE service to the environment and to your pocket books.

Imagine what 68 pounds of clothing must cost you , now multiply that by the number of members in your family !
If you purchase Gently used clothing for the next year , you should be able to cut that amount by 75% - 80%.

Invite your extended families and friends to join this effort, put up flyers at your local corner stores, recruit your myspace friends, and lets all meet back here for the next year to compare stories and thrifty shopping experiences....Let's show the world that we CAN make an impact and regain controll of what we spend as a group ... Ready ... Set .... GO !
