Here's a copy of the latest email that went out to our members.
The hustle and bustle of the holiday season is over. If you're anything like me, you've got the urge to de-junk the whole house from top to bottom!
Enter consigning. At Little Specialty Shop, we're experts at turning your clutter and your closets into cash!
What's Selling NOW at Little Specialty Shop?
Tis the season to consign your cruisewear at Little Specialty Shop! When we think cruisewear, we're thinking clothing you'd wear to the beach or somewhere tropical. Shorts, fashionable sundresses, beach covers, cute sandals, and sassy little summer tops are what our customers are looking for now. We've also started with our spring season at Little Specialty Shop. We're looking for transitional pieces to carry you through from winter to spring. Think long sleeved tees, brighter coloured, lighter knits, jeans, stylish skirts, career suits, etc.
Please ensure that all clothing brought in for consignment is:freshly laundered and pressed
presented on hangers
bought NEW within the last 3 years
Your co-operation in this is appreciated. Remember, we pay you 40% of the selling price of your items. What could you do with some extra cash?
What's NEW at Little Specialty Shop
As per usual, Vickie has been a busy girl! We now carry the shock absorber bra line and have just received 2 styles that are just what the doctor ordered for all of you ladies starting your exercise program this month. These bras reduce bounce by 74% and will keep your girls in shape while you get into shape!
We've also got 2 complete lines of swimwear arriving over the next couple of weeks including the "It Figures" line of mastectomy swimwear.
Of course, NEW JEWELRY has found it's way to Little Specialty Shop. It's hot off the press and ready for Valentine's Day and everyday wear.
Spring 2009 Changes
Each season, I have to evaluate how we're doing and what's selling and not selling for us at Little Specialty Shop. This allows us to meet the demands of our customers within the space that we have.
For the past few seasons, I have been struggling with the lack of interest in our plus size bottoms. We simply don't sell enough of them to justify the space it takes to display them. Effective immediately, we will no longer be accepting bottoms over a size 16. We will continue to offer a large selection of plus size tops. Keep them coming!
Another change we'll be making this season is in our footwear department. We get so many great shoes that we just don't have the space to house them all! Effective immediately, we'll only be selling trendy, cute shoes in sizes 6-10. We will no longer be accepting "functional" footwear. (loafers, walking shoes, runners-you know- the kind we should all be wearing!)
Thanks so much for your understanding and co-operation in this matter.
De-junking?
Your furniture and home decor is in great demand at Little Specialty Shop!
December was a big month for furniture sales and we're feeling a little bare! While your'e putting away all of those Chrismtas decorations, you may find some decor items that you're no longer using. Let us turn them into cash for you!
Furniture must be pr-approved before bringing it in to the shop. Simply email Vickie a picture to make sure it's suitable for our market and you're away to the races.
Home decor can be brought in anytime during business hours. Ensure everything is clean, working, (batteries and lightbulbs included where required) and in excellent condition. We'll do the rest!
Visit the website for a complete list of what we're looking for NOW.
Thank You!
Thanks to all of you who chose to shop locally this holiday season. We had our best year to date at Little Specialty Shop and we owe it to you-the customer!
In turn, my staff and I shopped Smiths Falls as much as possible and of course, will continue to do so. It really does make a difference in keeping Smiths Falls Sensational!
Hail and farewell.
